Lake Texoma Lakefest Sailing Regatta

Registration for the 28th Annual Lakefest Regatta and Flotilla on Lake Texoma is NOW OPEN at http://texomasailing.org/lakefest.html. This is one of the largest inland sailing regattas in the United States. Lakefest will be held May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Our race courses are located right outside Grandpappy Marina. we will be sporting 2 courses this year from very fast and exciting to watch spinnaker race boats to other working sail PHRF yachts. The best part of this regatta is that it benefits Make-a-Wish for kids in the North Texas area. Last year we were able to send 6 kids with life threatening diseases on trips, room makeovers, or meeting their favorite NFL player. It is a great cause and a lot of fun. So if you are a sailor please join in. If you are a power boater come out and watch. On Saturday May 3rd Grandpappy Marina is hosting a party at The Grandpappy Pavilion featuring The Fin City Band with a Margaritaville theme. The party is called: Wishing away in Texomaville. All of this is benefitting Make-a-wish. So come out an join the fun.
