Local artist Shannon Kincaid returns to her Sherman roots with a one-evening pop-up art show. Shannon grew up in Sherman and still has close ties to the area. “I have such a deep love for Sherman and I am thankful that I grew up in a small town with so much to offer,” she says. At the event, Shannon will share her story, her film, her art, her music and how she collaborates with others. Photographer Terry Cockerham will also be there to present his “52 weeks of Shannon” photo series. The evening kicks off a new business venture for Sherman native Ruth Williamson: The Collaboration Station, create a co-working environment with a focus on the arts and STEM.
